Born with a deep sense of social justice, Adv. Vidya Sagar pursued law at the National Law University, graduating with distinction in both L.L.B. and L.L.M. His early years were shaped by a passionate interest in constitutional and criminal law — a foundation that continues to define his courtroom approach today.

After enrolling with the Bar Council of India in 1998, Adv. Sagar quickly made his mark in the District Courts. His sharp analytical mind, command over legislation, and ability to present complex arguments with clarity earned him a reputation as a formidable counsel. By 2003, he was appointed Additional Public Prosecutor by the State Government — a role he held with distinction until 2010.

Today, Adv. Vidya Sagar leads a thriving practice spanning civil litigation, criminal defense, family law, corporate advisory, and property law. He is empanelled as legal counsel for leading Public Sector Undertakings and is a regular speaker at national legal conferences.

Adv. Sagar also runs a popular YouTube podcast series designed to demystify Indian law for common citizens — because he believes an informed citizenry is the best defense against injustice.
